She gained widespread recognition and fame in the 1990s for her role as Cher Horowitz in the teen comedy film "Clueless" (1995), which became a cultural phenomenon. The success of "Clueless" helped establish Silverstone as a prominent actress in Hollywood.

Alicia Silverstone began her career as a model before transitioning to acting. After "Clueless," she appeared in several other films, including "Batman & Robin" (1997), where she played the character Batgirl. However, the film received mixed reviews.

In addition to her work in film, Silverstone has been involved in various television projects. She also had a role in the TV series "Miss Match" (2003), among other appearances.

Outside of acting, Alicia Silverstone is known for her advocacy of environmental and animal rights issues. She has been a vocal supporter of veganism and has written books on the subject.
