Arcadia was a side project of the British new wave band Duran Duran. The group was formed in 1985 by three members of Duran Duran—Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, and Roger Taylor—during a hiatus in Duran Duran's career. The project was named after the utopian vision of Arcadia.

Arcadia released only one album, titled "So Red the Rose," in 1985. The album featured a more experimental and atmospheric sound compared to Duran Duran's typical new wave and synth-pop style. It included singles like "Election Day," "Goodbye Is Forever," and "The Flame."

After the release of "So Red the Rose," Duran Duran regrouped, and Arcadia effectively disbanded. The members returned to their work with Duran Duran, but Arcadia remains a notable side project in the history of the band.
