Brooke Shields is an American actress and model, born on May 31, 1965, in New York City. She gained widespread fame and recognition as a child actress, particularly for her role in the controversial film "Pretty Baby" (1978), where she played a child prostitute. Her breakthrough role, however, came in the film "The Blue Lagoon" (1980), where she starred opposite Christopher Atkins.

Brooke Shields continued to build her career in the entertainment industry, taking on roles in both film and television. Some of her notable works include "Endless Love" (1981), "Sahara" (1983), and the TV series "Suddenly Susan" (1996–2000). Besides acting, she has also been a successful model, starting her career at a young age and working with major fashion brands.
