"Bruce Almighty" is a comedy film that was released in 2003. It was directed by Tom Shadyac and starred Jim Carrey in the lead role. The film also features Morgan Freeman, Jennifer Aniston, and Steve Carell in supporting roles.

The story revolves around Bruce Nolan (Jim Carrey), a discontented television reporter who complains about God too often. In response, God (played by Morgan Freeman) decides to give Bruce all of His powers to see if he can do a better job. With his newfound abilities, Bruce initially indulges in selfish and trivial pursuits, but he eventually learns important life lessons about responsibility, compassion, and the true meaning of happiness.

The film blends humor with some deeper philosophical and moral themes, and it was well-received for Jim Carrey's performance and the comedic exploration of the consequences of having divine powers.
