Corey Taylor is an American musician, singer, and songwriter best known as the frontman for the bands Slipknot and Stone Sour. He was born on December 8, 1973, in Des Moines, Iowa, USA. Taylor is known for his distinctive and versatile vocal style, which includes aggressive screaming as well as melodic singing.

Slipknot is a popular heavy metal band known for its chaotic and theatrical live performances. Corey Taylor joined Slipknot in 1997 as their lead vocalist and lyricist. The band released several successful albums, including their self-titled debut album, "Iowa," "Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)," and more. Some of their popular songs include "Duality," "Wait and Bleed," and "Psychosocial."

In addition to his work with Slipknot, Corey Taylor is the lead vocalist and a founding member of Stone Sour, an alternative metal band. Stone Sour's music is often more melodic and radio-friendly compared to Slipknot. They have released albums like "Come What(ever) May," "House of Gold & Bones – Part 1 & 2," and others.
