Craig T. Nelson is an American actor known for his work in film and television. He was born on April 4, 1944, in Spokane, Washington, as Craig Richard Nelson. Nelson has had a successful career spanning several decades.

One of his most notable roles is portraying Hayden Fox in the television series "Coach," which aired from 1989 to 1997. For his performance in "Coach," Nelson won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series in 1992.

In addition to his television work, Craig T. Nelson has appeared in numerous films. Some of his notable movie roles include "Poltergeist" (1982), "The Incredibles" (2004), and its sequel "Incredibles 2" (2018), where he provided the voice for the character Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible.
