*  Depeche Mode is a British electronic music band that formed in Basildon, Essex, in 1980. The founding members of the band are Dave Gahan (lead vocals), Martin Gore (keyboards, guitar, vocals), Andy Fletcher (keyboards), and Vince Clarke (keyboards). Vince Clarke left the band shortly after their debut album, and Alan Wilder joined in 1982, contributing significantly to the band's sound until his departure in 1995.

Depeche Mode achieved widespread fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s with a string of successful albums, including "Some Great Reward" (1984), "Black Celebration" (1986), "Music for the Masses" (1987), and the critically acclaimed "Violator" (1990). The band is known for its dark, atmospheric sound and the unique combination of electronic elements with Gahan's distinctive baritone vocals.

*  Belly is an alternative rock band that emerged in the early 1990s. The band was formed by Tanya Donelly, who was previously a member of the influential alternative rock band Throwing Muses. Belly achieved success with their debut album, "Star," released in 1993. The album featured hit singles like "Feed the Tree" and "Gepetto."

Belly's music is characterized by its melodic and guitar-driven sound, and they were part of the alternative rock scene that gained prominence in the 1990s. The band released a second album, "King," in 1995, but they disbanded shortly after its release.
