Fabian Forte, known simply as Fabian, is an American singer and actor who rose to fame in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He was born on February 6, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Fabian was one of the teen idols of that era, alongside other performers like Frankie Avalon and Bobby Rydell.

Fabian's career began when he was discovered at the age of 14 by songwriter Bob Marcucci and record producer Peter DeAngelis. He quickly became a pop sensation, known for his good looks and smooth voice. Some of his hit songs include "Tiger," "Hound Dog Man," and "Turn Me Loose."

In addition to his music career, Fabian also pursued acting and appeared in several films, including "Hound-Dog Man" (1959), "North to Alaska" (1960), and "Ten Little Indians" (1965). While his music career may not have had the longevity of some other artists, Fabian remains a notable figure in the history of pop music from the late 1950s and early 1960s.
