Fleetwood Mac is a British-American rock band that has had a long and storied career spanning several decades. The band was formed in London in 1967 by guitarist Peter Green, drummer Mick Fleetwood, and guitarist Jeremy Spencer. Over the years, the lineup of Fleetwood Mac has gone through numerous changes, but the most well-known and commercially successful iteration of the band came together in the mid-1970s.

The classic lineup of Fleetwood Mac, which achieved massive success, consisted of Mick Fleetwood on drums, John McVie on bass guitar, Lindsey Buckingham on guitar and vocals, Stevie Nicks on vocals, and Christine McVie on keyboards and vocals. This lineup released the album "Rumours" in 1977, which became one of the best-selling albums of all time and included hit songs like "Go Your Own Way," "Dreams," and "Don't Stop."

Fleetwood Mac's music is known for its blend of rock, pop, and folk influences, and their harmonious vocal arrangements. They continued to release successful albums throughout the late 1970s and into the 1980s. Some of their other well-known songs include "Landslide," "Rhiannon," "The Chain," and "Tusk."
