George Michael, whose full name was Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou, was a British singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born on June 25, 1963, in East Finchley, London, and passed away on December 25, 2016, in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England.
Michael rose to fame in the 1980s as one half of the pop duo Wham!, alongside Andrew Ridgeley. Together, they achieved international success with hits like "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go," "Careless Whisper," and "Last Christmas."
