Guns N' Roses is an American rock band that achieved worldwide fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The band was formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1985 and quickly gained a reputation for their energetic live performances and a sound that blended elements of hard rock, blues, and punk rock.

The classic lineup of Guns N' Roses consisted of:

1. Axl Rose - Vocals
2. Slash (Saul Hudson) - Lead Guitar
3. Izzy Stradlin (Jeff Isbell) - Rhythm Guitar
4. Duff McKagan - Bass
5. Steven Adler - Drums

The band's debut album, "Appetite for Destruction," was released in 1987 and became a massive success, featuring iconic tracks such as "Sweet Child o' Mine," "Welcome to the Jungle," and "Paradise City." The album is often considered one of the greatest rock albums of all time.

Guns N' Roses continued to release successful albums, including "G N' R Lies" (1988), "Use Your Illusion I" and "Use Your Illusion II" (both released in 1991). These albums featured hits like "November Rain," "Don't Cry," and "Knockin' on Heaven's Door."

Internal conflicts and lineup changes marked the band's later years, with Axl Rose being the only constant member. Despite various challenges, Guns N' Roses remains one of the most influential and commercially successful rock bands in history.

In recent years, the classic lineup of Guns N' Roses reunited for a successful tour, marking the return of Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan performing together on stage.
