Norm Macdonald (1959-2021) was a Canadian comedian, writer, and actor known for his deadpan delivery and unique comedic style. He gained popularity as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) in the 1990s, where he anchored the "Weekend Update" segment. His time on SNL spanned from 1993 to 1998.

Norm Macdonald's comedy often involved dry wit, observational humor, and a willingness to push boundaries. After leaving SNL, he continued his career in stand-up comedy, appeared in various films and television shows, and had his own sitcom called "The Norm Show," which ran from 1999 to 2001.
