Pete Burns was a British singer, songwriter, and television personality. He was born on August 5, 1959, in Cheshire, England, and sadly passed away on October 23, 2016. Pete Burns is best known as the lead vocalist of the new wave and synth-pop band Dead or Alive. The band achieved international success with their hit song "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" in 1985. The song became one of their signature tracks and is still widely recognized today.

Pete Burns was known for his distinctive and androgynous appearance, and he played a significant role in challenging gender norms and expectations during the 1980s. His flamboyant style and bold fashion choices made him an iconic figure in the music and fashion world.
