Rob Zombie is an American musician, filmmaker, and songwriter who gained fame as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band White Zombie. He was born on January 12, 1965, in Haverhill, Massachusetts, as Robert Bartleh Cummings.

White Zombie, formed in 1985, achieved commercial success with their albums "La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Volume One" (1992) and "Astro-Creep: 2000 – Songs of Love, Destruction and Other Synthetic Delusions of the Electric Head" (1995). The band disbanded in 1998, and Rob Zombie embarked on a solo career.

As a solo artist, Rob Zombie has released several albums, including "Hellbilly Deluxe" (1998), "The Sinister Urge" (2001), and "Educated Horses" (2006). His music often incorporates elements of heavy metal, industrial, and horror themes.

In addition to his music career, Rob Zombie has directed and produced several horror films. His directorial debut was with the film "House of 1000 Corpses" in 2003, followed by "The Devil's Rejects" (2005), "Halloween" (2007), and its sequel "Halloween II" (2009). His films often feature a blend of horror, dark humor, and a distinctive visual style.
