Stone Sour is an American rock band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1992 by vocalist Corey Taylor (who’s also the frontman of Slipknot) and guitarist Josh Rand. Their style blends hard rock, alternative metal, and post-grunge, with a focus on both heavy riffs and melodic hooks.
