"Superman II" is a 1980 superhero film based on the DC Comics character Superman. It is a sequel to the 1978 film "Superman" and the second installment in the Christopher Reeve Superman film series. The movie was directed by Richard Lester, although much of it was originally directed by Richard Donner before he was replaced during production.

The film continues the story of Superman (played by Christopher Reeve) as he faces new challenges, including three Kryptonian criminals, General Zod (played by Terence Stamp), Ursa (played by Sarah Douglas), and Non (played by Jack O'Halloran), who are freed from the Phantom Zone and come to Earth with superpowers. Meanwhile, Clark Kent is dealing with his love for Lois Lane (played by Margot Kidder) and the dilemma of whether to reveal his true identity to her.
