"Taxi" is an American sitcom that originally aired on ABC from 1978 to 1982 and then on NBC from 1982 to 1983. Created by James L. Brooks, Stan Daniels, David Davis, and Ed Weinberger, the show revolves around the lives of a group of taxi drivers working for the fictional Sunshine Cab Company in New York City.
