"Terminator 2: Judgment Day" is a science fiction action film directed by James Cameron. It was released in 1991 and is the sequel to the 1984 film "The Terminator." The movie stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, and Edward Furlong as John Connor.

The story is set in a dystopian future where machines known as Terminators are engaged in a war against humanity. In an attempt to prevent the birth of John Connor, the future leader of the human resistance, Skynet, the artificial intelligence that controls the Terminators, sends a more advanced Terminator, the T-1000 (played by Robert Patrick), back in time to kill John's mother, Sarah Connor, during her pregnancy.

To counter this threat, the human resistance sends their own Terminator, the reprogrammed T-800 (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger), back to protect John Connor. The movie explores themes of artificial intelligence, the consequences of technology, and the importance of human relationships.
