📖 Plot Summary:

After German forces destroy Rose’s mission post in German East Africa, she persuades Charlie to take her downriver on his small steamboat, The African Queen, with the aim of attacking a German gunboat. Their journey through the dangerous jungle waters leads to romance and unexpected heroism.
