The Lemonheads are an American alternative rock band formed in 1986 in Boston, Massachusetts. Fronted by Evan Dando, the band is known for its catchy melodies and a blend of punk, pop, and folk influences. They gained significant popularity in the early 1990s, particularly with their album It’s a Shame About Ray, which features the hit "Mrs. Robinson," a cover of the Simon & Garfunkel classic.
Their sound often incorporates jangly guitars and Dando's laid-back vocal style. The Lemonheads have released several albums over the years, and although they went on hiatus at times, they continue to tour and create music, maintaining a devoted fan base.
