"The Mask of Zorro" is a 1998 American swashbuckler film directed by Martin Campbell and produced by Steven Spielberg. The film is a reboot and reimagining of the Zorro character, a legendary vigilante in Spanish California who fights for justice and the oppressed.

The film stars Antonio Banderas as the young and passionate Alejandro Murrieta, who becomes the new Zorro, and Anthony Hopkins as the original Zorro, Don Diego de la Vega. Catherine Zeta-Jones plays the role of Elena Montero, the film's leading lady and love interest for both Zorros.
