Thomas Dolby is an English musician, producer, and technology innovator. He was born on October 14, 1958, in London, England. Thomas Dolby is best known for his contributions to the electronic and new wave music scenes in the 1980s. He achieved international fame with his hit single "She Blinded Me with Science" in 1982, which showcased his unique blend of pop, new wave, and electronic music.

Dolby released several albums in the 1980s, including "The Golden Age of Wireless" (1982) and "The Flat Earth" (1984). He was known for his use of synthesizers and innovative production techniques, which helped shape the sound of the era. Beyond his own music career, Dolby also worked as a producer and collaborated with various artists.

In addition to his music career, Thomas Dolby has a strong interest in technology and innovation. He played a significant role in the development of the software for mobile ringtones and ringback tones, and he founded a company called Headspace, which developed mobile phone applications.
