 Tippi Hedren is an American actress and former fashion model, best known for her work in Alfred Hitchcock's films. She was born on January 19, 1930, in New Ulm, Minnesota, USA. Tippi Hedren gained fame for her roles in two of Hitchcock's movies:

1. "The Birds" (1963): In this thriller, Tippi Hedren played the lead role of Melanie Daniels, a wealthy socialite who becomes the target of a bird attack in a small coastal town. Her performance in the film is often praised, and the movie is considered a classic in the horror genre.

2. "Marnie" (1964): Tippi Hedren also starred in Hitchcock's psychological thriller "Marnie," alongside Sean Connery. She portrayed the title character, Marnie, a troubled woman with a complicated past.
