Velvet Revolver was a rock supergroup formed in 2002. The band's lineup consisted of several prominent musicians, including:

1. Scott Weiland - Lead vocals: Scott Weiland was the former frontman of Stone Temple Pilots and became the lead vocalist for Velvet Revolver.

2. Slash - Lead guitar: Slash is known for his iconic guitar work with Guns N' Roses. He played a key role in Velvet Revolver, contributing to the band's distinctive sound.

3. Duff McKagan - Bass guitar: Duff McKagan was also a former member of Guns N' Roses and played bass in Velvet Revolver.

4. Matt Sorum - Drums: Matt Sorum, another former Guns N' Roses member, took on the drumming duties for the band.

5. Dave Kushner - Rhythm guitar: Dave Kushner rounded out the band's guitar section, playing rhythm guitar.

Velvet Revolver was known for its hard rock sound, which drew influences from classic rock and elements of punk. The band released two studio albums during its active years:

1. "Contraband" (2004): Their debut album, "Contraband," was a commercial success and featured hit singles like "Slither" and "Fall to Pieces."

2. "Libertad" (2007): Their second album, "Libertad," was also well-received and included tracks like "She Builds Quick Machines" and "The Last Fight."
