Wilson Phillips is an American pop rock group formed in Los Angeles in 1989. The group consists of Carnie Wilson and Wendy Wilson, the daughters of Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, and Chynna Phillips, the daughter of John and Michelle Phillips of the Mamas & the Papas.
Their 1990 debut album, "Wilson Phillips," included five hit singles, three of which went Top 10: "Hold On," "Release Me," and "You're in Love." These songs helped the album achieve multi-platinum status. The group's harmonies and catchy pop-rock sound contributed to their success in the early 1990s.
